About Me

Hello and welcome to my website. I truly appreciate you taking your time to check out my art. I won't be writing to you in the third person just yet. I would personally like to share with you how much photography means to me and why I should be the one who shoots your next project.

Growing up in Park Slope, Brooklyn I was in love with drawing. Drawing helped me so much with composition and also noticing the tiniest detail to either make or break my images. Using these skills I was practically a natural at taking pictures. While I was in college I was completely surprised at the positive critique I received from professors and my classmates. It came to a point where it had to be a competition. I had to take and print the best photos or what was the point of showing my work? This competitive side brought out this art and ideas I didn't know I could create.

My first clients were friends, friends of friends, and people I met doing event photography. In between this time I assisted some amazing photographers who guided me and unselfishly taught me everything they knew. From lighting, to how to approach clients and models, to masking, to color correction, you name it I learned it. One of my highlights in my work being featured in GCaribbean Magazine. It's amazing to open a magazine and seeing your work in print. Now my clients consist of supermodels, actors, and athletes who want to work with me.

I am a photographer, overall an artist with a vision. I used to take photos all the time with my first digital camera, a Canon 20D. I would hang out with my friends and they insisted every second that I take a picture so they could update their MySpace page. One of the saddest moments in my life was when I walked into my friend's, Christopher Neglias, funeral and saw every single moment captured by me, printed, and placed on the walls. This got to me, I was upset. I lived those moments with him and now they are just images. People came up to me and shook my hand and asked, "Did you take those images of Chris?" I didn't know whether to be proud or sad. Photography can impact your life. It's not only a selfie, photography to me is personal, a reflection of who I am and the type of style I bring to life. Another encouragement, and the only reason why I'm fully committed to photography, is because of my mother Georgina Conde. She believed in me. Lord knows I wasn't a good son to her but she never gave up on me. Never doubted that I would get this far and giving up on my dream would be giving up on all of her motivation.

Book your project. Trust in my work and I guarantee you not only amazing photography but an image captured that will live on forever.
